Mrs. Rosy (Adams) Johns, 75, of Kittanning RD 5, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday (April 2, 1960) at her home. Mrs. Johns was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church in Adrian. Surviving are her husband, L. P. Johns; three sons, Warden and Chester of Adrian RD 1, and Bert of Cowansville RD 1; six daughters, Mrs. James H. (Beulah) Brennen of Cooperstown, Mrs. Ralph (Sylvia) Milligan of Kittanning RD 4, Mrs. Fred (Alma) Lewis, Mrs. Roy (Edna) Hooks and Mrs. Ronald (Mariam) Brown, all of Adrian RD 1, and Esther Johns of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are a brother, Homer Adams of Kittanning RD 4; 27 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Snyder funeral home in Cowansville. Funeral services will 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Brush Valley Brethren Church with Rev. Paul D. Tinkel, church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Rosie Johns Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon (April 5, 1960) in Brush Valley Brethren Church for Mrs. Rosie Johns who died Saturday at her Kittanning RD 5 home. Rev. Paul D. Tinkle, church pastor, assisted by Rev. James B. Slingluff, pastor of St. Mark's conducted the service. Two hymns, "'Let The Lower Lights Be Burning" and "Abide with me" were sung by Rev. Tinkle accompanied by Miss Judy Hooks. Pall bearers were Allen Hooks Larry Benton, Lee Howard, Merle, and james Johns. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
