Funeral services for George Lonnie Combs, 76, will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Taylor Methodist Church, Taylor, with Elder Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, under the direction of Key-McCabe Funeral Home. Mr. Combs of 7129 Northland St died Friday at his home following a long illness. He was born in Macclenny and had lived in Jacksonville 40 years. He was a member of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Courtney Combs, Jacksonville; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Jones, Mrs. Gladys Gillis, Mrs. Annie Mae Perry, and Mrs. Felton Houston, Lake City; two brothers, Claude Combs, Lake City, and Rowe Combs, Tampa, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be J.W. Thompson, W.L. Thompson, J.R. Lyons, J.R. Stroud, Paul Crews and Daniel Crews.
