Wayne Neil Prock the son of Neil Prock and Elma (Shelton) Prock was born Jan. 23, 1926 in Almartha, MO and departed this life Nov. 15, 2006, at the age of 80 years 9 months and 22 days.
Wayne was a resident of Ava for the past 12 years moving from Texas. Wayne served his country during WWII with the U.S. Navy. He was a musician and was formerly employed in radio broadcasting. He enjoyed traveling the country, playing country music and radio broadcasting.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Alfred and Alvie, a sister Verna Gardner, and an infant sister. He is survived by two brothers, Gerald and Ralph Prock of California, nephews Russell Prock and Eugene Gardner, also nieces Flo Etta Williamson and Elma Collins all of the area, also several other nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at the Souder Cemetery with Harlin Howerton officiating. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 7 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
