Beatrice Larson, 79, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, November 27, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plummer, MN, with Reverend Jonathan Dodson officiating. Burial will be at Emardville Cemetery, Plummer.

Visitation will be 3 – 6 PM, Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plummer, with a 6 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to service, Monday.

Beatrice Amanda Waldal was born December 9, 1926 in Emardville Township, Red Lake County, MN, the daughter of Alfred and Rose (Thoreson) Waldall. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plummer. Beatrice grew up in the area and attended District # 214 grade school and graduated from Pershing High School, Plummer in 1944. She worked for the 4-H Home Extension office and then moved to Middle River, MN, where she began working at Middle River State Bank.

On December 21, 1949, Beatrice was united in marriage to Clayton Marvin Larson. The couple lived in the Red Lake Falls, MN area. They moved to Gary, IN for 9 years and Beatrice worked at the Gary National Bank. In the fall of 1960, they moved back to Plummer and she worked at Union State Bank in Thief River Falls, MN for 10 years. She also worked at First Federal Savings and Loan, Red Lake Falls, MN and then at First Federal Savings and Loan in Thief River Falls, MN for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She worked part time at Northwest Community Bank, Plummer for the last 10 years.

Beatrice was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plummer and the Ladies Group, Bea was also a member of the Red Lake County Board of Aging, a member of Ladies Lioness and Plummer Senior Citizens. She enjoyed photography, collecting tea cups and cook books, she also enjoyed flower gardening.

Beatrice is survived by husband, Clayton, Plummer; sisters: Marie Seeger, Red Lake Falls, MN, Rosella (Kenneth) McDonald, Portage, IN, Helen (Wayne) Ober, Flat Rock, MI and Carolyn (Wesley) Myhre, Brooks, MN; a sister-in-law, Lydia Waldal, Vancouver, WA and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters: Selma Waldal, James Waldal, Alvin Waldal, Lawrence Waldal and Clara Auch
