Friday morning in Houston County Hospital. Services were held at 3:30PM today in
Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Carter was born in Twiggs County and had lived in Macon and Warner Robins
for the past 15 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist
Church.
Survivors include a son, Johnnie H. Carter of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Selma
Wood of Warner Robins; two brothers, Doc Carter of Macon and Peru Carter of
Commerce; a sister, Mrs. Aloha Rohr of Macon
