Handwritten-Thurs. Aug. 15, 1957:
Mrs. Mary Delagrange, 74, died at 1 a.m. today in her home in St. Joseph Township after an extended illness. She became seriously ill Sunday when she suffered a stroke.

Born in Springfield Township, Mrs. Delagrange had lived her entire life in Allen County. She was a member of Cuba Mennonite Church. Her husband, Joseph R., died in 1950.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Anne Delagrange, at home, and Mrs. Menno Delagrange, R. R. 1, Woodburn; two sons, Joseph, Jr., and Ben, R. R. 2, Grabill; two sisters, Mrs. Fanny Miller and Miss Sarah Lengacher, R. R. 2, Grabill, and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the residence and at 2 p.m. in Cuba Church, the Rev. Edwin Albrecht and the Rev. John Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
