William Buford Goble William Buford "Dock" Goble, 76, of Cross St, Anniston, died today at Stringfellow hosiptal after a short Illness. Services will be Thursday at 2 p m at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev Hoyt Fair officiating. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in Charge. Survivors include his wife Mrs Ruth Goble of Anniston; three daughters, Mrs Ann Owens of Alexandria, Mrs Stella Finley of Anniston and Mrs Eudessa Traywick of Jacksonville; a Son Boyd Goble of Houston, Tex; four sister, Mrs Nell Lyles of Cleveland, Tenn, Mrs Ella Blackwell of Benton, Tenn; and Mrs Nora Crump of Chatsworth, Ga; adn Mrs Cleo Stoops of Home, Ga; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three Step- grandchildren, and 17 step great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dennis Traywick, Mark Traywick, Bobby Owens, John Owens, Jerry Goble and Ray Goble. Mr Goble was a native of Georgia but had been a resident of Anniston 38 years. The body will remain a the funeral home through the services.
