PAUL FORD OBITUARY
Rev. Stephen Paul Ford, age 90 of Clarksville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 29, 2013.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Skip Armstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Ford entered this life in Stewart County on July 22, 1923, son of the late John and Mable Gillum Ford. He was a retired Methodist minister, pastoring to a great number of people over his career dedication to the Lord. He most recently attended Hilldale United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Ford; and siblings, John Ford, Katie Self, Hauttie Mullins, Bertie Dennison, Marie Mann, and Pauline Mullins.

Survivors include his long time companion and care giver, Marie Rector of Clarksville; and son, James Paul Ford of Mt. Juliet.

Pallbearers will be David Ford, Gary Hurst, Wendell McElroy, Isaiah McElroy, Elijah McElroy, Robbie Wallace, and Patrick Wallace.
