BOUNTIFUL-Myrtle M. Sibbett, age 72, died February 8, 1989 in Bountiful, at the home of a granddaughter.
She was born September 7, 1916 at Soda Springs, Idaho to John P. and Iona Beus Mikesell. She married Roscoe T. Sibbett, October 8, 1936 at Soda Springs, Idaho; he died November 11, 1988. She loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. She enjoyed crocheting and needlework.
Survived by a son-in-law, Robert Rider. Preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Sibbett Rider Paul; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Paul. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Mrs. Daniel (Connie) Simmons; Mrs. Steve (Janet) McGuire; Don Rider, Dean Rider; Mrs. Gary (Debbie) Ashdown; and Joe Paul, all of Bountiful; great-grandchildren, Jake and Colt Simmons; Todd Rider; Patricia and Cody McGuire; Travis and Jackie Ashdown. Also surviving are three sisters, Mae Flemmings; Charlotte Funnell: Lillian Van Hemert. Also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 1989, at 2 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 No. Main where friends may call Friday evening, 7-9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
