Funeral services over the late Mrs. Lucy J. Simms, wife of J.W. Simms, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Adventist church. Rev. J. Walker, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian church, will officate at the services.
Mrs.Simms passed away Saturday night followig a long lillness. She is survived by her her husband and son, W. E. Simms. A second son died about 5 years ago. The deceased had been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church for 19 years and was actively identified with the work of the W.C.T.U. in her community. Mrs. Simms will be remembered as the eldest daughter of the late P.M. Behunin, who brought his family to Fresno twenty-nine years ago, when Mrs. Simms was but 10 years of age. Death occured at the family home northwest of Fresno.
