Oriskany – Mrs. Patricia Knight Philips, 40, of 1309 Utica St., employed at the Rome Branch of the Oneida National Bank & Trust Co., died Jan. 6 in St. Luke's-Memorial Hospital Center, Utica, after a long illness.
She was born in Rome and attended Oriskany schools. She was a graduate of the Utical School of Commerce. She was married to James T. Phillips in Rome in 1951. He died last August. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church here.
She leaves her stepfather Frank M. Button Stanwix: two sons James T. and Daniel P. Phillips, Oriskany: a daughter Miss Barbara Ann Phillips; Oriskany: two sisters, Mrs. William A. (Julia) Lenio, Stanwix, and Mrs. William J. (Sally R.) Reid, Oriskany, and two brothers, Parker W. Knight, Fayetteville and Robert F. Button, Great Lakes Naval Training Station.
Funeral services will be 8:15 Friday Home, Rome, and at 9:30 from St. Stephen's Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
