A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in Willamette national Cemetery for Helen Elizabeth Greathouse, who died Jan. 5 at age 94.
Helen Dewey was born Nov. 4, 1914, in Burns, and moved to the Portland area as a child. She graduated from Milwaukie High School and was a cook for Dwyer Memorial Hospital (Providence Milwaukie Hospital), where she worked for 30 years. Her husband, RALPH GREATHOUSE, died in 1976.
Survivors include her sons, Pete and Fred; daughter, Emily Lund; sister, Dorothy Hickey; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her daughter, JoAnn Walker, died earlier.
