Pearlie Mae McCoy passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz.
Memorial service: 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Carter Metropolitan CME Church, 4601 Wichita St., Fort Worth. Interment: Her ashes will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Arlington.
Pearlie now walks with God's angels, and may our journeys to the blessed eternal light with our Heavenly Father be the path of example Pearlie left for us to follow, and our walk will be as hers. You were generous with your love, you were certain in your wisdom, and most of all you were the example of a tender heart of God's goodness.
Aunt Pearlie was born to George and Katie Talley on Aug. 19, 1916. She spent all except the last six months of her life in Fort Worth. She passed away in Tucson, Ariz., and now takes her final journey back home to the place she was born.
Survivors: The last Talley sibling, Helen Walls, who was there at Pearlie's side when she passed, survives Pearlie. There is a long list of mourners, which includes cousins, nieces and nephews, including grandrelatives, great-grandrelatives and great-great-grandrelatives. Also included are her many, many friends.
