Professional Boxer. He was the WBF Featherweight Champion from 2008 until his death. He won the world title crown when he defeated David Kiilu with a first round knockout on August 22, 2008. Born in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa, Galada represented his country at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games at Athens, Greece. In addition, he held the South African Featherweight Title. Considered by many as being one of the most promising boxers to hail from South Africa, Galada compiled a professional record of 13 wins (6 knockouts) and 0 defeats before he died in an automobile accident at the age of 26.
