Obituary for Mrs. Katherine M. Keener. The Grafton Sentinel, Grafton, WV. Aug. 7, 1968.
Abstract--age 72, of Rt. 4, Grafton, died this morning at Fairmont General hospital. She had been ill for eight years and seriously ill for one week. She was born in Marion Co. on July 9, 1896, d/o the late Edward Lee and Liza Katherine Carpenter Vincent. She is survived by her husband Everett Keener; two children, Everett Lee Keener of Monroesville, Pa., and Mrs. Pauline Brown of Grafton; four brothers, Matt Vincent of Fairmont, George Vincent of Rivesville, Denzil Vincent of Fairmont, and Arl Vincent of Fairmont; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Lough of Rt. 6, Fairmont; two grandchildren, Wiliam Brown and Robert Brown both of Grafton. Four brothers preceded her in death; Merick Vincent, Marion Vincent, Joseph Vincent, Curtis Vincent, and two sisters preceded her in death; Mrs. Nellie Poe, and Mrs. Opal Henderson. Internment was in the Glady Creek cemetery.
