Fayetteville --- Arlie Stafford, 70, of Stillwell, Okla., died Saturday (May 11, 1996), at the V. A. Hospital.
Mr. Stafford was born in Cotter Jan. 24, 1926, to Absalom Jackson and Nora Walton Stafford. He had previously lived in Mountain Home and worked in a dairy processing plant. He was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by three sons, Dwayne Stafford of Mountain Home, Michael Stafford of Summers, and David Stafford of Fayetteville; a daughter, Cynthia Dianne Boyd of Mountain Home; two brothers, Keith Stafford of Gassville and Laurel Stafford of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Josephine Baker, Lois Burke, Lavonne Stafford, and Bernice Wells, all of Mountain Home; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Home 9 am to 9 pm Tuesday, with the family receiving friends 6 - 8 pm. The funeral will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
