Mrs. Mary Lee, a pioneer of this section of the state, died at her home in Willacoochee, at the age of 80, last Monday, and was buried at the family cemetery on Tuesday. The funeral was held at the Methodist Church and the service conducted by her pastor, Rev. Boothe. Her husband died many years ago.
The deceased is survived by several sons and daughters besides a number of grandchildren. The grandsons acted as pall bearers. She had lived a remarkable life, and was known far and wide for her good work with her neighbors and friends.
