MRS. NELL J. D. CARSON
Mrs. Nell J. Deakins Carson, 88, Rt. 1, Telford, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1988, in Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Carson was a native of Washington County and a daughter of the late James and Blannie Hunt Deakins.
She was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and attended Leesburg Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Carson belonged to the Ladies of the Church and was a member of the Leesburg Home Demstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brook Carson.
Survivors include two sons, Don Carson, Telford, and James Carson, Jonesborough; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
