Isaac Richardson married Diana Alger on November 18, 1841 in Fayette County, IN. He was a Minister by occupation and had six children: Jasper, John, Sarah, Albert, Mary and Charlotte.

Isaac enlisted in the Union Army on September 25, 1861 at Indianapolis, IN. He was assigned to Company B, 47th Indiana Infantry Regiment. He became ill and died on January 3, 1863 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.

His brother Howard, was in the same regiment and is also buried here.
