"Funeral Services Held For Wilson Blankenship"
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Elk Valley church for Wilson Blankenship who died Wednesday. Mr. Blankenship was 80 years old. Burial was in the Elk Valley cemetery. Among those who attended the funeral were Mrs. S. S. Trammell, Mrs. C. M. Levy, Charles Trammell of Gatlinburg, Mrs. Sue Nelson of Knoxville, Mrs. Dave Reynolds and Mrs. Lan Hill of LaFollette. Mr. Blankenship is survived by five sons, William of Morley, Roscoe of Harlan, Charles, Lonzo and Grover of Elk Valley; one daughter, Mrs. John Botts of Elk Valley; one sister, Mrs. S. S. Trammell of Jellico; and two brothers, G. T. Blankenship of Matewan, W. Va., and Caswell Blankenship of Indianapolis, Ind.
