Paul Rickard Will, 96, of Strasburg, passed away Sunday at Greenfield Senior Living in Strasburg. He was born in Toms Brook on December 15, 1911, the son of William "Ott" and Zula Estelle Rickard Will.

Mr. Will graduated from Bridgewater College in 1934 with a bachelor's degree and from James Madison University in 1957 with a master's degree. He taught chemistry and math and was Strasburg High School's first guidance counselor and also served as principal for a short time. He retired in 1977 after 43 years in education, one year at Woodstock High School and 42 years at Strasburg. After retiring Paul decided to travel ... and travel is just what he did! He visited all 50 states. He also toured Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and many parts of Canada. Some of his favorites were Switzerland and Greece.He was an active member of the Maurertown Church of the Brethren, where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He was a charter member of the Maur-Brook-Olive Ruritan Club, where he served as a past President and past Governor. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Craver officiating. Burial will be in the Keller Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mike Wilkins, Steve Copp, Alvin Vann, David Bowman, Earl Bowman, Larry Baker, Justin Baker and Craig Stickley. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Maur-Brook-Olive Ruritan Club. Stover Funeral Home & Crematory, Strasburg, is in charge of arrangements.
