Services for Frederick Donald Doran, 57, of 409 Douglas Drive, Rock Springs were conducted Wednesday, Oct 20 at the Vase Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth King officiated.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Gerald M. Anderson, Jim Lee Roberts, Frank E. Best, Bill Vilmer, Edgar Alcivar and Leroy Maldonado served as pallbearers.
Mr. Doran died Sunday, Oct. 17 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where he had been a patient for four days.
He was born in Ava, Mo. on Jan. 1, 1925, the son of the late Clyde Menola and Rose Danewood Doran. He attended schools in Ava, Mo. and married the former Dorothy Mae Hunt in Selah, Wash. on July 17, 1943. Mr. Doran was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, the Shriners Club and the Steam fitters and Pipe fitters local union Number 192.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Rock Springs, one son, Bill of Rock Springs; two daughters, Dorothy Brandenburg and Cindy Kopp, both of Rock Springs; four brothers, Joe of Lakeside, Calif., Leland of Buffalo, Mo., Henry of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and George of Bolivar, Mo., two sisters, Pearl Sanders of Bingen, Wash., and Louise Denney of South San Francisco, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Doran was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille.
