Mrs. Gertude Virgin, 72 died at her home here Monday morning following a stroke suffered Friday.
Surviving are her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Fausett, of near here, and Mrs. Edna Bright, Pendleton; a son, Harold Virgin, New Castle; seven childfren; and a step son and stepdaughter deceased. One sister, Mrs. Ivy Snead, preceded her in death on August 2, 1951.
Mrs. Virgin was born in Hamilton County, near Olio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keeling. She had been a resident of Fortville, 43 years
She was a member of the Christian Church and of the Fortville Sisterhood.
