The 1930 Census shows that George was living on North Front Avenue in Inverness, Citrus County, Florida with his wife Rita DeM. And sons George DeM, and Hershel J. and brother-in-law Raymond DeMuro
The 1945 Florida State Census shows that George was living in Nassau County, Florida with his wife Rita M. and children George M., and John H.-(John Herschel Dame b1927)
The Florida Death Index shows George Alva Dame.

Dr. George Dame came to Inverness from Georgia in 1904. He made house calls over the county in a horse and buggy. He practiced in Inverness untill 1940, then was with the State Health Board.
