Mrs. Amelia J. Wentz
HANOVER - Mrs. Amelia J. Wentz, 82, widow of Chester K. Wentz, and former resident of Glenville, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul A. Swartz, 401 East Walnut Street, with whom she made her home. Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage which she suffered last Friday morning.
She was a daughter of the late John and Juliana Dubs Albright and was born April 12, 1862. Mrs. Wentz was a member of the Reformed congregation of the St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church. Her husband preceded her in death in October 1931.
Surviving beside her daughter, Mrs. Paul A. Swartz, Hanover, is another daughter, Miss Elva Jane Wentz, at home, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon meeting at the home at 1:30 o'clock. Further obsequies will be conducted in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed charge, and Rev. Clark S. Smith, pastor of St. Stephen's Reformed Church, York. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
