Funeral services were in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church near Sikes, with Rev. C. M. Robinson and Rev. H. J. Mott in charge. Burial was in Hurricane Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Winnfield.
Mrs. Roberts, a native of Sikes, is survived by her husband, George A. [sic H.] Roberts; four sons, T. F. and Bennie of Winnfield; Alic of Camp Polk; Alton of Jonesboro; four daughters, Mrs. Estelle Nugent of Springhill; Mrs. Vera Slater of Bentley; Mrs. Gladys Gillespie of Alexandria; Mrs. Myrtis Slaughter, of Camden, Arkansas; four brothers [only three listed in obit.] , Riley Abrams of Sikes; Jessie Abrams of Monroe; George Abrams of Delhi; and a number of grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Paul Abrams, G. T. Bookout, Elvery Lparker, J. L. Abrams, Alford Parker, and S. Parker.
