CONWAY [Horry Co.]—Goldaphine Alford Allen, 61, died Monday, July 22, 1996, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Born Feb. 18, 1935, in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Amelia Barnhill Alford.

She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Qunice [sic] D. Allen; three sons, Phillip Allen of Rains, James Allen of Conway and Steven Allen of Thomasville, N.C.; three daughters, Sandra Mishoe of Conway, and Darlene Squires and Mary King, both of Aynor; five sisters, Izzie Parrott of Florence, Hazel Balliet of Conway, Ven Johnson of Tabor City, N.C., and Lin Lockhart and Carolyn Nobles, both of Aynor; two brothers, Menton Alford of Thomasville and Eddie Alford of Denton, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Galivants Ferry
