John Sawdon. He was killed by Morgan's Raiders, July 14th 1863. Mrs. Zada Henegan Sawdon was left a widow with five children to support. She tried to work the farm with the help of the older boys. The oldest, William, being twelve years of age. She had in large crops the year after her husband's death and the hard work proved to be too much for her and was the cause of her death. She died Jan 9th, 1868. She was buried in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Our Great Grand father Peter Henegan gave the land for the Church and Sinai Cemetery and it is presumed that he laid out the same. It is located near Aurora, Indiana. (copied from RootsWeb)
