Mildred M. "Midge" Kinchloe, 79, of Parkersburg died Dec. 31, 2008, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Ravenswood, a daughter of the late John O. and Mary D. (Parsons) Stewart.

She worked for Dr. Batten for 17 years and also worked for Pure Oil Co. and John Mansfield. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Maurice Kinchloe; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Mark Beecher of Parkersburg; three granddaughters, Jennifer Simmons and her husband, Jeffrey, Kathy Davis and Amy Beecher; six great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lou Parrish and Jessie Joans, both of Vienna, Velma Carpenter of Mansfield, Ohio, and Pauline Eaton of Parkersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ross, Holly and Clyde Stewart; and two sisters, Irene Brown and Mary Stewart.

A memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Peterson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with a Wake service at 4 p.m. Sunday.
