Funeral services for Carl Wall, 81, were conducted at the Kelso Chapel at 2 p. m. Thursday. A member of a prominent pioneer Collingsworth County family, John Carl Wall was born April 28, 1884, in Montaque County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Wall. He came here with his parents in 1892, settling in the Aberdeen community. An area of big ranches, it was only beginning to be settled and Carl Wall was one of those who truly grew up on Collingsworth's frontier.
Mr. Wall himself was a retired rancher. He was married to Miss Ola Gragg on December 10, 1905, at Wellington. Mr. Wall had been a member of the Methodist Church since early in life.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ola Wall of Wellington; and four sisters, Mrs. A. J. Laycock and Mrs. Marie Shaw of Shamrock, Mrs. Sally Lenox of Everett Washington and Mrs. Clyde Byrd of Amarillo.
