Born in Buncombe County, N.C., she was a daughter of Carroll Edward and Mary Ruth Queen Huffman of Greenville.
Mrs. Turner was a member of Cedar Lane Assembly of God. She was very loved by all family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Robert Dale Turner; two daughters, Cathey Jo "Jody" Anguiano of Travelers Rest, and Tracy Lynn Brookshire of Greenville; five grandchildren, Steven Anguiano, Miguel Anguiano, Chelsie Lynn Martinez, Elena Rivera, and Luis Aguilar Jr.; aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Moody of Travelers Rest; three sisters, Joyce Estep of Easley, Carolyn Jane Willis of Greenville, and Louise Whelan of Pelzer; two brothers, Ricky Moody of Travelers Rest and Michael Moody of California; three nephews; five nieces; and former husband, Steve Brookshire of Travelers Rest.
Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
Services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Cedar Lane Assembly of God. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the residence.
