Rachael Ellen Thompson, 26, of Glenwood passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton by Pastor David Blake. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. She was born November 5, 1981, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of Carl Thompson Jr. of South Carolina, and Deborah Dean of Glenwood. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harlan Dean. In addition to her parents she is survived by her step father, Kenneth Scarberry; one son, Tanner Spurlock and his father, Jake Spurlock; one sister, Heather Hicks; one brother, Chad Dean; maternal grandmother, Edna Dean, paternal grandparents, Ruth and Carl Thompson Sr.; step grandmother, Margie Scarberry; special nephews, Preston and Benjamin Dean.
