Harry Albert Fite, retired butcher and lifelong resident of Tipton County, died on Friday morning of an apparent heart attack. He was dead on arrival at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton after suffering a seizure at home.
Mr. Fite lived in the Brighton Vicinity. He was 67 and a member of the Tipton County Church of the Nazarene at Beaver Crossroads. He had been a church school superintendent there since the church was established and was a song leader.
The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon in the Nazarene Church. Burial was in the Helen Crigger Cemetery with Munford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his widow, Margaret Rose Baskin Fite.
He also leaves two brothers, James and John Fite of Munford; two sisters, Clarice Blackwell of Brighton and Margaret Mims of Memphis; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
