Jason W. Stiles, 39, of Etowah, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a member of South Liberty Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frazier and Minnie Stiles; and one uncle, Bobby Slack.

Survivors include his father Dewey Stiles; his mother, Linda Stiles; one brother, Rusty Stiles; his maternal grandparents, Carson and Mary Slack; one uncle and his family, Ben, Charlotte, Dana, Eric, Cindy and Benjamin Stiles; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend, Frank "H.G." Raby.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Watson, the Rev. Tracy Hamilton and the Rev. Chris Hamilton officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Wednesday and proceed to Sunrise Cemetery for the 11 a.m. burial.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Stiles, Bo Stiles, Dick Stiles, Leon Leamons, Chuck Skipper and Tracy Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Robinson, T.J. Hamilton, Sam Raby and Joy West.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
