Mrs. Alma M. Alley, a guest
at the United Presbyterian
Home, Philipsburg, died
Tuesday. February 10,1976 at
7:30 p.m. in Philipsburg State
General Hospital after a
lengthy illness. She was a
former resident of Spruce
Creek.
She was born Nov. 12, 1895
at Altoona. a daughter of John
and Effie Chilcoat Bonsell. On
Dec. 16. 1921 at Arch Springs
she was married to Charles T.
Alley.
Surviving are a son, Wayne,
of Mill Hall; two sisters, Mrs.
Dorothy Woodring and Mrs.
Merle Smith, both of York;
five brothers. Joe and William
of Tyrone; Carl of
Huntingdon: John, of Spruce
Creek, and Norman of York;
also three grandchildren and
three great grandchildren.
She was a member of
Spruce Creek Presbyterian
Church.
Funeral service will be held
at the convenience of the
family. There will be no public
visitation. Burial will be in
Franklinville Cemetery,
in charge of the Rev. John
Dean. Contributions in her
memory may be made to the
United Presbyterian Home,
Philipsburg.
