Mrs. Elizabeth Silva Spencer, died Tuesday afternoon in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wilmington on January 6, 1894, the daughter of the late John E. and Donnie Turley Silva.
Mrs. Spencer was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Eastwood Club.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Manon Spencer of Lake Charles, Louisiana, one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Spencer Marett of the home, one sister, Miss Mabel Silva of Wilmington, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Andrews Mortuary by Rev. Johnny Phillips. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Elliott, Herbert Fisher, Grady Funderburke, Jack Sneeden, Elmore Higgins, and Lucius George, Jr.
The family request memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Home in Lake Waccamaw, N.C.
