Amanda (Basehore) Umbenhen, aged 82 years, widow of Henry Umbenhen, of Palmyra, died Monday while on a visit to her daughter, Sadie, wife of Clayton A. Sholley, of Wernersville, Berks Co. She was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Sallie (Bixler) Basehore. She is survived a son, Calvin of Hamlin; two daughters, Emma, wife of Harry Mark, of Palmyra; and Mrs. Sholley; three brothers, Henry and Levi, both of Bethel; and Benjamin, of Womelsdorf; one sister, Mrs. Leah Brown, of Bethel; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
