Ruth Loggains Allison, age 86, of Sulligent, AL died Saturday March 17, 2007 at her residence.

Born in Lamar County to the late Demp and Edna Earl Ray Loggains and the Wife of the late Wayne Allison. She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and Baylor University where she received a degree as a Register Nurse Anesthetist. She retired from the Lamar County Hospital after twenty-five years of Service. She was a member of the Sulligent United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star also the Ladies VFW Auxiliary.

Survived by a Sister in Law: Jo Loggains of Tupelo MS, a Niece: Cindy Sparks and her Sons: Sam and Taylor Sparks of Tupelo, MS, and a Host of other Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by her Parents and Husband, Two Sisters: Robbie Ray Fowler and Ruby Loggains, A Brother: Samuel Noah Loggains.

Services held Monday March 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pope Cemetery. Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating.

Visitation is Monday from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
