Capt Stanley Edward Lukyn. M.C. Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment, 1st Battalion. Died from injuries received while under instruction. Inquest on June 4th 1917 recorded a verdict of accidental death. Evidence was given by instructor Captain Harrison. The aircraft had been in use for only ten days. At a height of 1000 feet, the machine begun to spiral and nose-dived. It could not be controlled. He believed the aircraft had developed a fault. Died 10th April 1917. Buried Sunbury.

Travelled to Montreal, Canada, from Bristol, 1912.
