Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. William Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his parents Andrew J. Sr. & Ruth Taylor Banks, and his son David Banks. Mr. Banks is survived by his wife of 52 years, Daisy Mae Banks of Millbrook, AL; daughters Sarah Crabtree of Millbrook, AL, Mary Davis of Prattville, AL, Brenda Martinez (Rafael) of Las Vegas, NV; sons Charles E. Banks (Patricia) of Montgomery, AL, Roy A Banks of Montgomery, AL; stepmother Willena Banks of Prattville, AL; sisters Martha Roberts of Selma AL, Mildred Tucker of Birmingham, AL, Frances Haynes of Montgomery AL; brothers Andrew J. Banks Jr. of Maplesville, AL, Kenneth Banks (Annette) of Montgomery, AL, Lawrence E. Banks or Prattville, AL, James Banks of Marbury, AL; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grand-children.
