George David Lindop, 61 of Mesa, passed away on August 18th after a valiant battle with cancer. He was retired from the Maricopa County Flood Control District. George was a proud Viet Nam veteran who served in the US Army in the BTRY 7th BN 13th ARTY. He was also an avid sportsman and a member of the NRA. He was a son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was preceeded in death by his father George Thomas Lindop. He will be missed by many but we are assured in God's grace that we will meet again.
No services were held, as were his wishes. Donations were sent to the American Cancer Society and the National Rifle Association.
