ANGELA SUE LOFTIS NEWTON

Angela Sue Loftis Newton, Zanoni, MO, daughter of Gene Loftis and Rebecca Friend Loftis, was born October 26, 1965 in Mountain Home, AR and left this earthly life December 31, 2008 in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 43 years.

She graduated with the class of 1984 from Gainesville High School and on May 31, 1986 was married to Kevin Newton at Dora, MO. When their daughter Kandace was born, it made their family complete. In Zanoni, MO they loved life, each other, and their many pets.

Angie was preceded in death by her brother Brian Loftis, niece Dusty Loftis, maternal grandmother Juanita Friend, paternal grandparents Clifford and Ola Loftis, and her father-in-law Doin Newton. Angie is survived by her husband Kevin, daughter Kandace and fiancé Corey Smith, mother Rebecca Boyd, father Gene Loftis, sister Summer Loftis Luna of Raleigh, NC, grandfather Efton Friend, and mother-in-law Ann Newton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Terry Newton and wife Rhonda, niece Whitney Watcher and husband Benjamin, nephew Tyler Newton, great nephew Connor Bryant Pierce and his father Chad Pierce, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Angie was baptized at a young age and was a member of Sweedon Pond Church. She had been a rural mail carrier and had worked at Sunburst Ranch, but she especially loved raising her dogs. She enjoyed fishing, farming, riding horses, arrowhead hunting, and spending time with older folks and little kids. More importantly she loved her family. Nothing made her happier than being with them. Angie had a quick wit, a kind heart, and the most beautiful smile. If she were here she would say "It'll be alright. If I die before I wake, Feed Jake." She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Richard Martin officiating. Interment was in the Friend Cemetery in Isabella, MO. Visitation was Friday evening 5 -7 PM at the funeral home.
