A.A. Harp Rites Set In Matador

MATADOR (Special) - Services for A.A. Harp, 68, a resident here 36 years, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Matador Church of Christ with Leonard Dennis, minister, officiating.

E.A. Sanders, Childress, will assist. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in Kirkland Cemetery at Kirkland. Eudy-Seale Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Harp, who died Thursday in Big Spring veterans hospital, moved to Matador from Kirkland. He was a native of Clay County a member of the Church of Christ, the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I.

He was associated with the Matador Hardware and Furniture Co. until his retirement last fall.

Survivors are his wife, two sons, two stepdaughters, three brothers, two sisters and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Keltz, Ott Stokes, J.M. (Buzz) Thacker, Frank Montgomery, John Irwin and Edgar Lee.

Allen was the son of Phillip Allen and Lois Bristol White. Siblings were Andy Lee, Cora Belle, Beulah Mae, Mary Ova, Charles Emmett, William Clarence, and Lorenza Claude Harp
