Mr. Boyd was born May 13, 1880, in Newaygo County where he attended schools. He moved here about 50 years ago. He was married August 31, 1910, to Miss S. Ethel Allen. A member of Lakeside Methodist Church, he also was a member of the Golden Age Club, Modern Woodmen of America and the Letter Carrier's Association. He leaves his wife; a son, George of Muskegon; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Cook of Norton Township and Mrs. Martin Sokolowski of Ravenna; and
