ETHEL ELLA WETHERINGTON (NEE: RATLIFF) - 90

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel R. Wetherington, age 90, will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at the Zion's Rest Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Herman Jordan, Herschel Griffin and Rev. Bob Christie officiating. Mrs. Wetherington of 3619 Trask St. passed away Sunday afternoon at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of Jasper, Florida, she had lived in Jacksonville since 1941, moving here from Jasper. She is a member of the Zion's Rest Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs E.E. Swearingen, Minden, LA., Mrs. Fonso Christie of Jacksonville, Mrs. L. Roy McDaniel of Lakeland, Fla., and Miss Evelyn Wetherington, Daytona; two sons, L.L. Wetherington, Miami, and Carlton Wetherington, Jacksonville; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be deacons of the Zion's Rest Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hardage-Krauss. Riverside Funeral Home of 517 Park Street is in charge of arrangements.
