She was united in marriage to Robert Ross on March 6, 1946, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Ten children were born to this union. Throughout her life, Mildred resided in the Greeley area. She spent the last eleven days at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and television.
Survivors include her children, Melva (Dwight) Darrow, Brandon, FL, Jean Cornwell, Greeley, John (Deb) Ross, Colesburg, Mona Lain, Manchester, TN, Gwen (Alonzo) Beeh, Greeley, Bruce (Vicky) Ross, Manchester and Frank (Theresa) Ross, Greeley; thirty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; a sister, Illa (Marvin) Menge, Cedar Rapids and two daughters-in-law, Diane Ross-McDonough, Greeley and Ronda Ross, Garnavillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, James, Darrell and Richard; a son-in-law, Jerry Cornwell; and grandchildren, Gary Ross and Timothy Lain.
