He lived in Oklahoma until 1942, and in Fort Worth from 1952 until 1984 when he moved to Hillsboro, Texas. He was a retired contractor and antique dealer and owner of Ray's Antiques of Fort Worth and Hillsboro.
He is survivors include: his two sons, Bill Tefertiller of Fort Worth and Bob Tefertiller of Itasca; three sisters Sylvia McPherson and Mae Shivers, both of Norman, Oklahoma nd June Cypert of Purcell, Oklahoma; one brother, Herbert Tefertiller of Sun Dance, Wyoming; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funersl services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2001 at Laurel Land Chapel in Fort Worth and burial was at Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth, Texas. Officiating was Pastor Leslie A. Pope. Arrangment were by the Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
