Professional Football Player. A center and linebacker, he was an All-American at Boston College in 1942. After graduating in 1943, he joined the Navy and played on the Coronado Amphibious Training Force Amphibs service team in 1944. After his discharge from the service, he began a five-year career with the Los Angeles Rams. He garnered All-Pro honors in 1948 and 1949. After football, he worked as an FBI agent, homebuilder, and in the cement industry. He died of cancer.
