Paula was born and raised in Auberry, Ca. She passed away from cancer with courage, grace and grit and that is how she lived her life. She was an artisan who's passion showed in everything she did. Truly a soul who taught us how to live. She was with friends and family when she passed.

Paula graduated from Sierra High School. She was the founder and CFO of Sierra Seafood LLC. She was involved in many endeavors, Arthritis Foundation Angels in Motion, Chairman Fundraiser Sierra Art Trails, Liason Breast Cancer Support Center, Board Member Fairweather downhill hikers and diners club.

She was interested in pottery, painting, poetry, beading, hiking, gardening, sailing, and snow skiing.

She is survived by Joe Sweat, her spouse of Oakhurst; her daughter, Jessica Sweat of Santa Cruz; her son, Tyler Sweat of Oakhurst; father, Gary Adair of Auberry; mother, Barbara Adair of Auberry; brother, Dana Adair of Yosemite Lakes Park; and sister, Lori Adair-Lacritz.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Bass Lake at Pines Resort Lakeview Room on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m.
