Tyler Nicole Henderson 15, of Detroit, passed away Friday December 26,2008 in ETMC Clarksville.
Tyler was born December 29, 1992 in Mt. Pleasant to Tracy and Kelly Barton Henderson. She was a member of the Sophomore Class at Detroit ISD. She was very active with her school and community and will be missed by all. She was a member of the Detroit High Basketball Team, Beta Club, Spanish Club, Detroit Youth Rodeo Club, Upward Bound, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Detroit FFA and played softball.
Survivors include her parents, Tracy and Misty Henderson of Detroit, and Kelly Kent of Bagwell; grandparents, Kenneth and Shirley Henderson of the Hopewell Community, Randall and Marsha Tyson of Detroit, Jackie Barton of Bagwell and Vickie Maye of McAllester, OK; great grandparents, Connie and Janice Tyson of Paris, Jewel Henderson of Clarksville and Joe Bob Burks of Reno; great-great grandfather, Dennis Lee of Paris; brothers and sisters, Keith Henderson, Logan Henderson, Allyson Henderson and Kaylee Kent; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Glenn Townes Memorial Fine Arts and Gymnasium at Detroit ISD with Rev. Don Shovan and Rev. Ronnie Kellam officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers for Tyler are Ashley Minter, Jon Minter, Craig Fletcher, Coy Allen, James Hall and Matt Raulston. Honorary Pallbearers are Zach Brown, Ben Haynie, Kasey Wolf and Asa McKinney.
